We have started shaping the hills
The first day on the site of the future park, and a scale model built before the work began.
“First acquaintance. We have certainly taken on something with this park. A complicated undertaking, of course, but every step is spellbinding. For now we have started shaping the hills.”
“Besides the sketch plan, we are preparing a scale model.”
The hills in this garden are not decorative landforms but what the water will run over: streams cut furrows into the hills and flow down into the pond.
